Therapy
My Approach
Much like life, I don’t believe there’s a ‘one-size fits all’ approach to therapy. My training is Integrative Transpersonal which means that, depending on your needs and experiences, I combine techniques from different therapeutic approaches to find what works best for you. These include Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Somatic, and Creative. I work intuitively and include techniques such as body psychotherapy, image and metaphor, and visualisation.
I’m interested in the unique, individual person that you are - the parts that are wise and whole, and the parts that may have been silenced, shamed or dismissed.
I offer a calm, confidential space and a steady presence where the things that might feel unbearable can be explored, spoken and gradually transformed.
Doing the work means there will be challenging things that we address, but I believe in using creative ways to help us dive into areas that feel difficult. Together.
Who I Work With
I work with adults from all different walks of life. I have specific experience in anxiety, depression, disordered eating, divorce and relationship issues, loss and grief, menopause and parenting.
I believe that our experience of the world is profoundly affected by power and privilege, so factors such as how we experience our race, culture, sexuality, gender identity, socio-economic background, neurodiversity, physical wellbeing and many other factors all shape our identity and experience – who we are and how we feel.
